The Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO is renowned for consistently bringing in great acts, and last night’s performance by Dillon Francis and Kill Paris was no exception. The sold out show was easily one of the rowdiest nights I’ve experienced at the historical venue, jam packed with thundering bass and crazy energy from start to finish.

Kill Paris got the night started with his soulful dubstep/future-groove sound. His style is so different from anyone I’ve ever seen and made for an incredible opening act. He debuted an awesome collaboration with GRiZ that perfectly meshed the two artists’ distinct sounds. Don’t be surprised if you start seeing Kill Paris headlining his own shows in the near future.

However, the night took a turn for the insane as soon as Dillon Francis stepped up to the decks. Playing off of the energy of the crowd, Francis dropped banger after banger, including a healthy dose of his signature moobahton sound. He dropped most, if not all, of his iconic tracks and debuted several new ones that are sure to be in heavy rotation at the start of festival season. Dillon Francis seems to have found quite the following in Colorado, and his shows have gotten better each time I’ve seen him. What made the night extra special was that you could tell that all of the artists were super excited to be playing for the Ogden audience and they put that little extra into their sets that made the night especially memorable. So here’s today’s lesson: If Dillon Francis or Kill Paris are near your area… GO!
